About
I am a New York based director and an associate member of the SDC. Above all else, I am a collaborator and storyteller. I thrive on facilitating close knit ensembles where everyone knows their voice is important, and look to bring people together in the service of telling a better story than I ever could alone. I focus on stories that bring women to the forefront, either in complex roles written for them, or through reimagining classic roles. I seek the sweet spot where art and entertainment meet, and am always working to bring a little more magic into the world.
I am a graduate of Northwestern University, with a B.A. in Theatre and Legal Studies, and a minor in Comparative Literature. I will be returning to school August 2024 to pursue my MFA in Directing Musical Theatre at Penn State University!
I was a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation 2019-2021 Observership class. Additionally I was a 2019-2020 Directing Resident at The Milwaukee Repertory Theatre where I am assisted on on six productions, in spaces ranging from their intimate cabaret style theater to the 1300 seat Pabst Theater.
When not working in or seeing theatre, I love exploring new places, cheering for historically terrible New York sports teams, hanging out with my dogs, Ginger and Phoebe, and reading a good mystery.
